The flexible foiled barrier for brick cavity consists of an intumescent strip faced with high tensile foil, ensuring optimum durability and moisture protection. The powerful intumescent seal, in the event of a fire, expands to create a powerful fire and smoke seal, thus providing effective fire protection. Additionally, a flexible mesh structure offers enhanced robust strength and flexibility to the barrier section.- WB Cavity Barrier – thin flexible foil-faced intumescent strip. Fixed in a horizontal position in a brick/ block cavity. Fixed with mortar.- VWB Cavity Barrier – supplied with airflow system, either one, two, or three rows of holes. Depends on the width of the barrier.

ENVIROGRAF Flexible Sponge Rainscreen Cavity Barrier (RSF) - ALL SIZES

Flexible sponge rain-screen moisture-resistant cavity barrier range, specially designed to offer excellent passive fire protection for rain-screen and other types of cladding. Using fireproof sponge instead of mineral wool, this range offers many advantages:- The barrier is much thinner, additionally offering a better fire rating.- Easy to fix and no masks required.- Fixing brackets already in place, fix with screws, nails, or spit nails. Made in 1-metre lengths, with 4 fitting brackets for horizontal application or 3 brackets for vertical. Cut with a sharp knife to fit around metalwork. The cover is made from a strong, intumescent-coated material, completely water-resistant.The RSF range is the same as the RSM but with a foiled reinforced covering which is water-resistant. Certifications:– Tested to BS EN 1363-1 (1999), achieving up to 132 minutes protection.– Tested to BS476 Part 20, achieving up to 66 minutes of protection.

Rainscreen fast-fix ventilated cavity barrier, an effective solution for ventilated rainscreen cavities. Suitable for both horizontal and vertical applications. Supplied in 1220mm lengths with 4 fixing brackets per length. In addition, achieves 2 hours of fire protection for cavities from 75mm to 315mm.Mechanically fix the cavity barrier to the substrate at a maximum of 500mm centres with non-combustible fixings. Ensure there are no gaps between the substrate and the barrier when attached to the wall.Cavity Barriers are pieces of fire-stopping material. They fit within the cavity of a building on each floor horizontally and the party wall in a vertical position. The material provides compartmentation. Both the flames and heat cannot be transferred to other compartmental areas. Throughout the life of the building, the Cavity Barrier will remain fixed in place. In the event of a fire, the intumescent material expands and seals off the gaps. Additionally, the horizontal barriers allow for a ventilation gap within the cavity. ENVIROGRAF Flexible Strip Cavity Barrier is a flexible, PVC and foil-clad intumescent strip with self-adhesive backing to adhere to walls. Designed especially for timber frame buildings. High expansion intumescent locks against the external side of the internal wall in a fire without affecting outer wall. Blue plastic sleeve robust enough to prevent damage by water or pests. Under heat the intumescent creates a fire seal, thus providing full fire protection. Certification: Strip barrier tested to BS476 parts 20, 22 and BS EN 1363-1 (1999), giving fire protection from 60 to 120 minutes.
